Yes, window tinting is legal in Victoria. Front two side windows must allow at least 35% VLT — this is the legal minimum for the driver and front passenger windows. Rear windows (behind the driver) have a legal minimum of 20% VLT.
Most standard vehicles — including hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs, wagons, utes, and vans — are completed within 2 hours. Some larger or more complex vehicles may take a little longer, particularly if old tint removal is required. Same-day appointments are usually available and we recommend dropping your car off in the morning for same-day collection.
Keep your windows closed for a minimum of 24 hours after installation to allow the adhesive to cure. After that, normal use including washing your car will not affect the tint in any way. During the initial cure you may notice small water bubbles or hazy areas — these are completely normal and will disappear as the film dries.
No. All of our films are completely metallic-free, meaning zero signal interference for GPS, mobile phones, Bluetooth, E-Tag, or satellite radio — across every film type we offer. You get full heat rejection and UV protection without any impact on connectivity.
Carbon tint uses carbon particles to block heat and UV rays — it’s a great mid-range option with no signal interference and a lifetime warranty. Ceramic tint uses nano-ceramic particles for the highest performance: up to 80% heat rejection, 99% UV blocking, crystal-clear visibility, and a lifetime warranty. Ceramic is the premium choice for maximum comfort and longevity.
Yes! All our films come with a manufacturer-backed lifetime warranty. It covers peeling, bubbling, cracking, and colour fading. If any issue arises with the film (not due to physical damage), we’ll replace it at no charge.
